Has anyone ever had to deal with thier CS? I was on hold today for 1 hour, and never spoke to anyone!!! I normally would have hung up after 15 minutes, but i was waiting for someone to get an earfull about the hold time. I finally hung up and called back to get a friggen voice mail!! This was around 5pm est and I was calling the NONE toll free number in california! Is there some secret to getting hold of a friggin person or are they all bots?
 
Yep, it is awful. It took me over a week to get a hold of them and on top of that when I finally sent in my video card to be RMAd they lost the package and it took over 2 months to get my replacement.
 
Well, I have had great service from MSI products. I like the product, but if customer support is this $hitty all the time I dont think I'll look at anymore products with the MSI name on it.

I finally did get hold of someone today. They are going to ship the bios chip to me so Im happy about that, but being on hold for over an hour is crazy!
 
I've found support to be the same as you described, regardless of the company. I've had similar dealings with Abit, Asus, Epox.
 
I think getting a hold of anyone at MSI is next to impossible. Asus is pretty hard to get a hold of someone too, Epox responds pretty fast though. I'd like to see a customer rating for different companies review. Maybe anandtech could do something like that for us.
 
Why? Why? Why? Just 2 hours ago I had my heart set on getting an msi ti4400. I've read bad things about the card itself, and now I find out that the support sucks too. This is awesome.
 
Abit, Asus, MSI, Epox, IWill, Soyo...they're all the same. If they're a large company based in Taiwan, forget about support. They all have the same policy -"We're too big to offer individual support".
