So, I bought a little pc for a media center/living room pc. I built an old one about 6-7 years ago and its a big pc. I wanted something smaller that would be something for surfing the web and streaming media. So I picked up the MSI Cubi with an I3 in it. Neat little thing, but when I went to install the msata SSD I bought, I realized they forgot the screw. They included a little silver screw, but the diameter is far too big for the standoff they installed.

So, once I get a screw ill let you know how it is, but for now, anyone know where I can get a cheap m2 screw or is it just online?

Do you have a wireless card in that thing? Is it secured with 2 screws?
If yes to both, I'd wager that they use the same threads.
If no to either, it's probably an m2.5 or m3 threaded screw, but I'm having trouble verifying that.

I looked around on the board, and I see any extra screws I could steal. The 2nd image contains the wifi card I believe, but as you can see, its a single screw. The standoff between the black and gray wire is the one that I dont seem to have a screw for.

So just an update. I got the screw I needed from a friends old laptop.

So far this thing is great compared to my old HTPC. The old one was big, hot, and the wireless adapter was crap. I have 88 down on my gaming PC that is connected directly to the router. The old HTPC was in the living room and I would get about 20 ish down. I ran the speed test again for the new one, and I am getting 88 down. I new I would get a speed boost but wow.

I have a clean install of Windows 10 so everything is very quick. The thing does not make any sound when using it for youtube or movies.

Some time this year I am going to set up a NAS and use that for all my storage.
