MSI BX Master bios flashing

I'm trying to update the bios on my Bx Master mother board. The instructions say to make a bootable floppy, extract the files in the upgrade compressed file to the floppy and reboot. When I do this, I get an error message the says "Unknown Flash Type". I've tried this with v5.5 and 5.6 of the bios upgrade. Anybody have an idea as to what I'm doing wrong?
