MSI boards ? are they good for overclocking ?

I am buying a new mobo , i was looking at 2 MSI boards.
Can anyone tell me which 1 would be best if any of them ?

#1 MSI KT4V-L Socket A Motherboard

#2 MSI KM2M MS-6738 Combo-l

I have a XP 2400+
and a coolermaster aero 7 so i plan to overclock it a far as posible ?

whats the most you rekon an xp 2400+ can do ?


or if i dont get the MSI board it will be prob Asus A7N8X Deluxe .

asus...and u might wanna look into the epox 8rda+....and you only have to ask once

Get an nforce2 board by companies other than MSI. Abit, Epox, Soltek all have solid nforce2 boards.

Either get the MSI K7N2 Variant or the Asus both using the NForce2 Chipset if you plan on overclocking. I'm using a MSI K7N2-ISLR and really like it.

I really like the MSI K7N2-ISLR , its a bit more expensive .Ive heard that EPoX 8RDA's are good so , prob 1 of them or the ASUS cuz i heard they were reliable and we'll made. .. thank you

On my MSI 865pe mobo with a P4 2.4C best I could do was 2.6ghz,over that it was no post.

Same cpu & peripherals with an Asus P4P800 I can reach 3.2ghz easy, you decide. ;)

I have an xp2400+ to put in it any idea how it SHOULD go on average. My cpu xp2400+ is only getting 1991 mhz in the board i use just now.
