MSI bios update features

Apologies if I'm being redundant. If I buy an MSI mobo and later update for Ryzen 3000 series I get the GUI & features for series 1 & 2 now, then the update loses support for previous chips but gives me non-GUI for Ryzen series 1, 2 and 3? OR does it give me GUI for just series 3? Is that correct for all updates?

AFAIK no one online has any idea when MAX boards will be available in U.S. Maybe September. And B550 could be out anytime from early Oct to next year.

Thank you.

To my understanding at minimum you will keep support for Ryzen 2000 & 3000 chips and I believe on some boards you keep 1000 Ryzen support but it depends on how large the bios chip is.
