MSI Afterburner High CPU usage

When i launch MSI afterburner than my mouse cursor slows down or lag and CPU usage goes to 99% for about 3 to 4 secs than everything gets back to normal and MSI afterburner works but i dont know what is this issue.


I have used on my both cards GTX 980 and GTX 980 Ti and issue is the same.

I think your CPU is possessed!!

On serious note, try to uninstall MSI AB completely , don't keep any config files etc. And try installing some other hardware monitoring software. I think it is doing some kind of stress test on the cpu.
