MSI A88XM-E35 w/ Richland 760K *no video*

So I'm on my second motherboard and I'm still getting no video on the PCI-E bus, the video card is working fine in another box. Could it be looking for the onboard graphics and is there a way to turn them off w/ no APU? Any help would be hot, thanks.

I came in here thinking you had no video on the APU and I was going to reply you have a 760k haha.

Well - That is odd. I'm not much help now. I have a similar setup but I did nothing to get my GPU working.

Is it one of these?

Kingston KHX1600C9D3P1K2/8G DDR3 1600 1.5V DS 4GB
Kingston KVR16N11/4 DDR3 1600 1.5V DS 4GB
Kingston KHX16C9P1K2/16 DDR3 1600 1.5V DS 8GB
Kingston KVR16N11/8 DDR3 1600 1.5V DS 8GB

What is happening when you turn on the machine? Does it stay up? power immediately off?
Does the monitor ever show it is getting a signal?
When testing the card in another machine, are you using the same display/video cable?

There is a bios setting to change the primary display device.
also remember that you'll have to swap the cable from motherboard to the card.

So boot with APU graphics, change the primary device to PCIE, reboot and swap the cable

There is no APU on Richland 760k. Ended up being the PSU even though everything powers/lights up fine. Swapped it with the 850 in another rig and it went to working. Sigh. Thanks all.

Great to hear - So many times through the years have I thought it was one thing when its actually the other. The stupidest thing that gets me all the time is not being able to boot various boards when something is plugged into USB that it doesn't like.

Glad you got it. That PSU (wasn't it a Rosewill?) must be a dud.
