I've been looking for info on this and the manuel that came with the mother board is not very usefull. So my question is the motherboard has an 8 pin atx cpu power supply. Now when i run the 8 pin the cpu seems to run hott its a amd 1090t be 3.2ghz so i changed it to 4 pin leaving 4 of the pins unused. Im wondering am i losing out here or is the 8 pin for some extra function like the 6 pin for cards that dont have atx connectors on them?
