I am building a new basic server here at work, and am failing to get this system to boot. The MSi D-bracket is showing the 2nd led as green, indicating a memory detection error. I have tried the Dimms in various combinations single and dual, and nothing works. I dont have any spare ddr2 or psu to test with, But someone has suggested I need an 8pin 12v cpu connector, as The antec power supply only has a 4 pin cpu connector.
Could this be causing the problem ? I want to make sure before I suggest we fork out on a new psu.
any advice greatly appreciated.
