I recently bought a new system and i´m trying to get the most out of it, unfortunally i have ran into some problems.

1) I want to run my memorys at DDR500 even if I run my CPU at 800 MHz, this is possible, right? I have tried different BIOS settings, Dynamic Overclocking disabled, Performance Mode Slow and memory timings by SPD should be the best to start with I think but it doesn´t work. If I set RAM to 500 MHz my computer hangs directly even before my monitor turns on. The highest I have reached is fsb at 240 Mhz and RAM at auto, but what if I want to run fsb at 200 MHz and RAM at 500 MHz? If I set RAM to 533 MHz I can set memory timings manually pretty good but CPU-Z reports memory bus speed to 200 MHz (DDR400), why is this?

2) If I want to run my memorys at DDR400 i should be able to do so with good timings. SPD is 3-4-4-7 but this is for DDR500. I have red about people that have ran 2-3-3-5 timings at DDR400 with these memorys and maybe as low as 2-2-2-5. The problem is that even if I set timings manually to 2-3-3-5 CPU-Z and other apps reports my CAS Latency as 2,5, I can´t seem to get CAS 2 no mather what i set in BIOS.

To me it seems to be a BIOS problem, I have BIOS version 1.8.

My system specs are:
Intel P4C 2.8 GHz
MSI 875P NEO-FIS2R
Corsair XMS TWINX PRO4000 1024MB
PowerColor 9800Pro
2x80 GB HD
Antec PlusView 1000AMG
Antec Trueblue 480PEC 480W
