Question MSI 870a-g54 and AMD FX-8370

Can anyone verify that a AMD FX-8370, AMD FX-8310 or something similar works permanently on an MSI 870a-g54 (non FX-version, white Socket AM3)? Thank you!

Thanks, i already know this page.

But reading some other threads, someone said he tried with another fx and it worked somehow, but didn't say something about long term effects and the specific fx-chips i mentioned above...

Is one person making it work worth your trouble? An FX Processor, in general at this point, isn't going to make that big of a difference vs a fully supported x6 CPU.

Both are going to be quite a lot slower than current AMD or Intel CPUs since ~2017.
