I have a problem with an MSI 865GM2-LS motherboard. It's an Intel 865G chipset with onboard everything.
The problem is that after sitting for a while, like 15+ minutes, or overnight, it won't POST. The power will turn on, fans will spin, HD light will come on, etc., but no POST. Hitting reset doesn't do anything. I have to turn the power off, unplug it, wait a few seconds, plug it back in, and it will work.
The problem seems to be when its left plugged in (but off), if you leave it unplugged then it will turn on fine when you plug it back in.
I tried different RAM and hard drive. The CPU is a P4 2.8/533. I already RMA'ed one of these boards for a similar reason and this is the one I got back from the MSI RMA. Could it be the power supply? Its a new one that came with an Antec case (350Watt). There are no PCI cards in the system and I tried 3 different BIOS versions... so what else can I try?
