Just curious to see what people think of this board. Sounds pretty nice based on the review.

I got one today and by some reason it won't POST. That D-bracket has 4 red lights and won't go further, which means - according to manual, there is a problem with CPU. I got P4 2.4B cpu which i tried yesterday in another machine and it worked. All I did today when i got the MB is applied some Arctic Silver3 on top of it and installed it. Could I damage the CPU by using arctic silver? I applied to the top part (the metal part) and was careful not to touch anything else on the cpu. What do u guys think? Bad MB or I did something to the CPU with Arctic silver?

Nope, I can't imagine that you could do anything to the CPU unless you didn't put you hs/fan back on right.

BTW try assembling the system "out of the box", ie put it together on a desk(motherboard not mounted inits case) and turn it on. I bet it works fine and if it does it means you have a short in the system somewhere and you to try reseating the board in the case.

I have had this happen more than once in my lifetime (with MSI) and it was always related to how the board was sitting in the case.
