I currently have an MSI 845 PE Max v2.0 installed on my computer. in the manual, and online, MSI states that my board should be capable of up to 333 mhz clock speed for my RAM. However, when I look in BIOS, I am only able to select up to 266. I have considered flashing the BIOS, but seeing as how I have never done anything like that before, I figured I'd ask before I risk screwing something up. I assume there are other posts about flashing the BIOS and such, so i will search for those if it comes to that, but I was wondering if anyone knew if perhaps I just had a setting wrong.
