I have an old MSI 845E motherboard. I wanted to up the memory in it to 1 GB but when I put the second stick of ram in, the system boots up but as soon as I try to load a program up (games - specifcally World of Warcraft beta or Star Wars Galaxies online) the game will boot me out with a 'program not responding'. As soon as I pop the second stick out, everything works fine. I did not try to use the Kingston ram in the same slot as the Samsung ram when I had it.
The Memory in the motherboard now is Samsung PC2700.. The ram which I had bought was Kingston Valuram PC2700 (I have tried 2 different sticks and since returned them both)
Any ideas what this could be? (Im sorry for the lack of information)
