I am trying to connect the front USB ports on a Chenbro PC610 to this board. There are 2 pin headers, but not enough wires for either. Any advice would be helpful.

some layout of usb....
your motherboard USB3 look like an example of C (or if short in a pair of black wire, use example A will be fine)
what is the "2 pin headers" you means?
Thanx for that link. It helps a lot. By "2 pin headers" I mean 2 sets of usb pins identified on the mobo as JUSB2 and USB3. JUSB2 seems to be reserved for the MSI d-bracket.
OK I tried that and it didn't work. I tried enabling legacy and no cigar. I have the bios set to "all usb" .. So I guess I'm stuck with the rear ports.
care for describe in details the usb connectors from the case?
do they come with color? or do they come with words on them? how many wires are there? 8 or 10?
OK I have 2<VCC>(red); 2<-DATA>(white); 2<+DATA>(green); and 1<GND>(black) .. They are separated to a 3 and 4 wire arrangement, and I hooked them according to the example you recommended. There are 9 total wires. The case is a Chenbro 610. After connecting them, I checked the bios, and used a USB mouse to test.
this is strange... 3 + 4 = 7, 7 wires from case.... as the gnd wire from case should be 2, one for each usb (in my exp.) and they are not connected.
If you can check the connectivity (get a multimeter?) check if the wires connected to the USB connectors in the front of case. Are they in right direction? (follow the diag. in the perious link)
oops .. I meant 7 total wires. I spent time on the phone with Chenbro and am trying to get through to MSI. Apparently the ground loops at the front panel. I'll use my multimeter to see if they jive according to the layout information.
FINALLY MSI gave me the answer. I cannot have all 6 USB ports connected. Something about the Intel bridge on that mobo. I would need to disconnect the d-bracket USB to get the front ones to work. It makes sense, but the manual doesn't spell it out.
