Looking at purchasing a 7600GT in the future. One common complaint is the noise of the stock cooler on these cards. I noticed this MSI (Link) with a different cooler. The card is still about $178, but thought it would beat spending $160 and then adding a $25-$30 VGA aftermarket cooler (Zalman 700 most likely).
You think this MSI VGA cooler is a lot of show and no real value, or would it serve as a good alternative to buying a standard 7600T and then replacing the stock heatsink with a Zalman 700? Anyone have one of these?
