MSI 694D Pro-AR problems!!!

Hi,

Is this motherboard gonna work on a single CPU?
The manual say, it should, but with a terminator on the 2nd CPU.
But I don't know if this board is terminated or not.

- MSI 694D Pro-AR
- 2 x 256MB PC133
- GeForce 2 MX

I will appreciate any input.
Thanks.

The terminator is supposed to be built into the board (i.e. automatic). Can't say that I've actually verified that, though, since I have 2 P3-700e in my 694D Pro-AR.

That's what I am thinking...
But the crazy thing I did... I just purchased a ASUS CUSL2-C
coz I really want this computer up and running. And now
I'm also having trouble booting.

There's a short beep and nothing appears on the monitor.
Now w/c is which?

Anyways, I did not connect the Drives.. hardisk... etc.
I want to see something appear in the monitor... but blank!

- CUSL2-C
- P3 @933
- GeForce2 MX Hercules
- 256MB PC133 1pc Micron

Is it my memory or my processor?
Pls..... God help me.

I had 2 ASUS motherboards with built-in sound and video. Until I flushed the board with the latest BIOS, it will not post without a floppy or harddrive attached (need at least one of these 2 devices).

After flushing the BIOS, it let me boot without any other device attached (only memory & cpu)

Can any one answer this with the MSI 694D Pro-AR/AIR:

1st: what is the difference between AR and AIR
2nd: with the Promise ATA 100 RAID on board, can I use the Promise
hot swap IDE bays?
