im on a pretty tight budget and was planning on picking up this mobo for about $75. i just want to know how good of an overclocker this thing is. will i get some pretty decent (2.4+ ghz) on a p4 1.6 northwood?

Depends on the cpu. You may get that high with the default voltage, but 2.13 (133) is more realistic. This board only goes to 1.65 volts.

The MSI 645 Ultra only goes to 1.60v actually (though there's still the Vmod that can be done to increase that).

I've gotten my 1.6A/645 Ultra combo to just over 2.4Ghz, but at that speed you have to put the fsb:memory ratio to 1:1, causing a memory bandwidth bottleneck. I would suggest just running it at around 133 to 140mhz with a 4:5 ratio (for a 166mhz memory speed), which should give you impressive day-to-day performance.
