I am trying to spec systems for school use here. The key factors are stability, compatibility and price. (not necessarily in that order). I am suspicious of VIA chipset boards, but that is from the old days, and I am willing to be convinced either way.

Does anyone have personal knowledge of this board? Remember, I do not care about performance/overclocking/features. Just baseline stabilty, cost and ease of setup.

Why not use an Iwill XP333 or XP333-R? All that you asked for, and it's not a VIA chipset.

Via makes the best chipsets for the athlon platform... kt266a & kt333 are rock stable.
