MSI-6367 is a fairly rare Micro-ATX nForce Crush chipset mobo.

I just bought this wee green board. Seemed like a great deal. Stuck it in a case with a Duron 800, 250W PSU, a FDD/HDD/CDROM and nothing else because it has onboard LAN, GeForce 2, and sound.

Put in a stick of Crucial 256 PC2100 RAM which has worked fine in another machine for 30 days.

Here's the problem: I boot her up and she POSTs, I can even get into BIOS and everything looks right. But then every time it tries to re-boot after initial POST, no POST. No beep at all, just hangs. Any clues? This is true whether I restart from BIOS or power on/off or whatever,

I re-set the BIOS and I can POST again, but not when I reboot.

Could I have shorted something? What could cause this?

I will update the BIOS now to latest and greatest and hope that's all it needs.

Any advice is appreciated in the meantime.

Ok I flashed the BIOS, but still same problem.

This PC will only post with the CMOS cleared fresh.

I was reading some old forum answers and found someone with a similar problem There were suggestions that the 12V rail may be insufficient, that the mobo may be shorting up against something,

My +12 is running 11.55 to 11.87 in the BIOS. Is that a problem?
