MSI 6340M mobo...Cannot get printer to work.

Help,

This is really annoying, I cannot get an older lexmark or a newer HP 930 deskjet to print:

1. Installed the latest drivers
2. Cable is good (not USB)
3. Right Printer is selected on "printers"
4. software is working
5. LPT1 is working according to device mgr

When I try to print I get error: "printer not found" as if no printer is connected.

will try with USB cable instead. Maybe CMOS setup? I feel so stupid.

This mobo has built in video/sound
