MSI 6340 died on me

The people I purchased the computer from replaced it with a newer revision, and hinted that there was a common roblem with these boards.

Just wondered if anybody else has ahad any problems.

I have one of these, and it hasn't failed yet... but now should I be worried?

im not sure, its been faultless up to that point, and the new one is totally reliable too.

the first one i had would oc to 109 FSB, but the new one only goes to 102 FSB and when i go past this the boot up mhz is 297, which is totally bizarre

also the fan plugs have been moved, the old board had the CPU fan plug to the top right of the CPU, but thats moved to the bottom left.

when did u get yours? mine was in with the computer when i brought it about 5 or 6 months ago

"should i be worried?" depends what sort of warrenty you have got, and wether or not its a/the newer revision.
