No, there is a limit to the amount you can increase your voltage over the default voltage. The MSI 6309 has it set at 1.7v for the celeronII, 0.2v over spec. I want to be able to get over this limit.
As dunkster and netdori posted you are SUPPOSED to be able to set vcore in bios/hardware monitor/vcore selection. Bios may not allow Celerons to be set higher than 1.7v. Also changes don't take effect until you exit. If you do find out how to get the vcore to change you may find it difficult to determine what the vcore voltage really is.
I have a MSI6309 bios v1.5 with a PIII-667. I can change the vcore from 1.60v to 1.80v in 0.05v increments and have done so as described by dunkster. Unfortunatly my two differant monitoring programs report 2 differant actual vcore voltages. Anywhere from 0.05v to 0.11 volts higher than the set point.
Hope you find what you're looking for-vince.
