Sigh... this actually happened a few days ago. I noticed the dual fans on my processor had started to spin a bit slower (the pitch emitted was lower) and then I went to a lan and came back and boom, the fans didn't come on at all.
So I removed my processor, checked out the hs/f and put it back in, checked the fan port, nothing unusual, then turned the machine on and still nothing. So I hooked it up to the fan connector on the other end of the board and the fans start going just like that...
Two questions here
1) What the hell happened to that first port?
2) This board is discontinued, am I going to be able to get support from MSI?
