MSI 6163 Pro problem.

Hello.
Recently I installed a new CPU for my 6163Pro. (Pentium III 450) When I put in my new CPU I got some annoying beeping sound with this message. "System hardware abnormal. Press a key to continue." When I looked at the D-LED, I saw led 2 and 4 were red meaning Testing base and Extended Memory, according to the manual.
How can I get rid of this annoying beeping sound and the message?
 
Yep, it's one of the annoying features of the MSI 6163 Pro board 🙂
I think you have to change the value of "chassis intrusion detect" from "enabled" to "reset" in the Bios under the CPU Plug & Play III menu. It will then reset the changes made to your system and should stop beeping 🙂
