MSI 6111 bios question

I've finaly got enough junk laying around to put together a new system, and the mobo I plan to use is an old MSI 6111. I want to update the bios. It has an AMI bios, but I see on the MSI page here,that you can switch from AMI to Award. I would rather use an Award bios because I am used to them, but I wanted to check and see if anyone here ever switched them, and how it works. Does the file on the MSI page automatically give me the most updated BIOS? I can always use the updated AMI bios, but I would like to try this first. Any suggestions are appreciated.
