MSI 1070 Gaming X - cant unlock voltage control?

Hey guys. Day #2 with my new card. Overclocking with Afterburner and can't seem to unlock voltage control. Any ideas? I have ticked the boxes in the control panel saying "Unlock voltage control" saved and restarted, but it's still grayed out in the UI.

To anticipate questions:
1. Latest version of Afterburner
2. Latest NVidia drivers
3. Card is not voltage locked - multiple reviews show over-volting in Afterburner.

Any update to this? Did you get it working? Alternatively, could try another OC software. Also, do you know what state/mode the card is in? (OC vs Gaming or silent)

I think the latest beta version of Afterburner should have voltage control for you. I have the MSI 1070 Gaming (non X) and the core voltage slider is unlocked.

What power targets are the different versions of Afterburner allowing for?

I've seen reviews of GamingX cards that allow for 121% and others that allow for 107%.
