I finally figured out the evil plan in Windows Vista. The idea is pretty simple: sell the Vista OS to manufacturers then sell XP to consumers once they find out they don't like Vista. They get to sell two OSes for one machine.

Gee, it was so obvious but I didn't see it before. Haha!

Vista Business and Vista Ultimate include downgrade rights, meaning your Vista license allow you to run XP instead. However, I do not believe you intended this to be a serious post so I have locked it.
