msconfig & Win95

Is there a way to turn off programs in my Task Manager, of Windows 95, similiar to like I can with 'msconfig" in Win98? I have a couple I need to keep from running after bootup.

start > run > regedit

HKEY LOCAL MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKEY LOCAL MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices
HKEY CURRENT USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

or you can try copying the msconfig.exe file over

edit: sorry forgot windows dir after ms

Wow! I would have never guessed I could have copied the "msconfig.exe" from Windows 98, to a WIn95 system, and, run the program, but, it works! Thank you, I was able to modify my startup just fine. I went into the registry, and couldn't find the string you typed in, but, it doesn't matter, since I got the msconfig file to run on the 95 system, thank you 🙂
