"Msconfig": listing missing components

I had my ATI AIW video card removed and an NVIDIA 32MB card installed. All the ATI drivers were not removed although the software for the ATI AIW was removed. I still get the ATI Multimedia Center and other ATI items listed in the "Msconfig" as well as the "Add/Remove" control panel although my Add/Remove does not see them and the applications/extensions, etc. are not on my computer, just some drivers; the applications are listed but unchecked in Msconfig, although no longer on my machine, but they bug me. How do I remove any references to the ATI devices on my CPU (in Msconfig and Add/Remove)?
