mSATA in "older" notebook (Studio XPS 1640) [pic]

I'd love to retain the HDD and ODD currently installed as well as add a mSATA SSD into the notebook.

It's a Dell Studio XPS 1640. Here is a picture of the open mSATA ports:

Would I be able to order something along the lines of this and use it as the main OS drive: http://www.amazon.com/MyDigitalSSD-Super-Cache-mSATA-HybriDisk/dp/B00DY5C7AY/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1389499433&sr=8-7&keywords=mydigitalssd

Those seem to be mPCIe slots, not mSATA. While the pin layouts are similar, the port still needs to be routed to SATA in order to work.
