Costco.com has the brown MS Zune for $99, shipping mid November. Just another option for those looking for a decent player.

ZUNE SALE

Says limited time but does not list expiration. Similar offer at buy.com but that is covered in other posts.

I like the Zune. It's not as bad as many people claimit to be. This will make great stocking stufers.

Thanks

It can be done, but voids your warranty. Much simpler to get a silicone or leather case if you don't like the color. Personally, the double-shot color on the brown zune is kinda' cool. I did not like it at first, but it grew on me the more I looked at it.

And for just $99 I can live with it! I ordered one from buy.com, and now two more from Costco.com. One is for me replacing my 2gig flash based Samsung, and the other two are gifts.

I don't think you can beat this deal as far as bang for the buck!

I've had mine for a while and love it. Ordered one of these from Buy.com (free shipping) for the wife. With the new firmware enabling wireless sync coming out soon and the fact that two Zunes can share a single Zune pass account, it's hard to beat this deal.

Finding more and more of these deals, now $89 at Amazon.com! All brown in color. Wish I could find one in a local B&M but they are all still $149.

Coming very soon is version 2.0 of the Zune software, which is what the new models are getting but which they are making available to all Zune owners. That's the real reason for the cheap prices - there are new models.
