I have MS Works Suite 2002 Installed on my computer right now. I wan't to wipe my HD, but I don't have the CD-Key! I use MS Word a good bit, so I need it, and I don't really want to buy it again. There is a program that get's CD-Keys from teh registry for Windows XP and Ofiice Xp, so I'm guessing there is one for this too. Someone said to look in my registry manually, but when I go to Run>regedit it comes up for a second then dissapears! It's been like that for a while, and I have been using RegSeeker to clean my registry. However, regseeker cannot view your registry, it can only clean it (and some other things, but they aren't needed to me). Anyone know what I can do?

Its in hklm\software\microsoft\works suite\2002\registration. No idea about the disapearing regedit. Try regedit in safe mode.

Download the following program: Belarc Advisor.

Run it and look at the Output, there is a Software Licenses section, the CD Key will probably be listed there.
