MS Word freezes on closing

We have a user in the office whose MS Word freezes whenever closing a document or the app itself. I bring up Task Manager and there are two instances of Word, under the Applications tab, that are both Not Responding. I have tried repairing Office XP as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the print drivers at a co-worker's suggestion, but the behavior hasn't changed. Any ideas?
