I don't have the "elite" version myself. I paid about the same for the non-elite version at Omax a few months back.
The "elite" version at Sam's has a "leather" wristrest on the keyboard and palm surface on the mouse. It also has an extra tilt/scroll wheel on the keyboard.
I'm still on the same 2 AA batteries in the keyboard and just replaced the single AA in the mouse a couple days ago.

I think it was $58 something. I know it was less than $60.

and if it ever breaks ms will send you a new one for free. i guess they can afford to do that because they make tons of money by SCREWING US for their software.

btw, i have an elite version.... the novelty of the wristpad wears out in like 10 minutes.
