MS Windows Whistler 2001 Professional...Win2k gets even better ;)

Will 3 GB free HD + 256 MB ram be the minimum recommended requirement for Whistler 2001? Geez, ram is twice as much expensive as it was last year.

I seriously doubt that 😉 I think that the min for Win2k is 64MB, so 128 might be a safer number.

NFS4

It's not 'negative.' I'm just trying to procrastinate!😀 Upgrading is expensive.....so I fight it as long as I can.🙂

I haven't tried WinMe yet, but wouldn't this feature also have to save the drivers?

This would explain the 3GB requirement.

Actually there is a program called Goback that does the same thing. MS probably bought the rights to it.

So we're happy, that Windows is finally including this. The Windows registry is such a pain - I've been hoping for this just about forever.

128 is the real world min req for Win2K IMO.
I ran 2K with 64 megs for a while, it was virtually unusable, the comp was so utterly unresponsive, and had so much HD swapping it was pathtic.
