ms vs. logitech optical cordless

Right now I am using the intel wireless series mouse, and i HATE it... for gaming it sucks, and batteries die every week.

So, since i do need a cordless mouse I am trying to decide between the ms cordless optical, and the logitech one'

My biggest question is i konw the ms makes a high pitched noise, Does the logitech do the same, and for gaming wise, is either of these good enough for counter strike

thanks,
-th

First of all, most MOST people, cordless mouses, any kind (i mean ms and logitech) sucks for gaming cause it could skip and all... FOr gaming, go back to CORDED and a optical is a good choice. I went with the MS Optical Explorer cause even though ppl say it sucks cause its been breaking down, new batches has been release that solved this problem.

GO FOR MS OPTICAL EXPLORER!!! NEW BATCHES!!!

I have heard good things about the new Cordless Intellimouse Explorer. But I still would prefer the good old optical Explorer myself. 🙂

i have logitech cordless desktop pro now
it's great
think to replace cordless optical mouse
just wondering if the ms cordless optical mouse work in logitech reciever?

i have a cordless optical logitech.. the thing works like a charm.. i cant function on other mice now.. better then any optical mouse i've had before.. and the wireless is an extra bonus... as for games, its amazing.. the only problem i had was turning my in game sensitivity down because the thing is so accurate! 😀

It's not optical but the Logitech Cordless Mouse works pretty darn good. I haven't noticed any problems in games at all. I have had it for two months and I'm still using the original batteries. Had to clean it once but that's easier to do than opening a new pack of batteries. It doesn't cost a lot either. I think mine was $18.00 after a $10 rebate.
