On Windows 2000/XP platfroms I installed Virtual PC 2004 on an attempt to run Windows 98 in order to enable some users to use an accounting software that doesnt run under any OS but windows 98.
I confiured a virtual HD of 15 GB drawn out from an original 40-80 GB physical HDs.
I also set a virtual RAM of 128 MB out of 256 MB physical RAMs
All HDs are 40-80 GB Seagate/Maxtor 7200 rpm.
All RAMS are 256 MB Hynix/Apolo/or Simple Tech PC 133
All PCs are Compaq/HP evo 2.4GHz and higher.
What in the name of God would make the virtual PC perfromance almost dead??
Although, referring to MS website on the recomended requirements, I found that the two specs almost match..
P.s: The accounting application is distributed over the LAN. and it is starting to corrupt files
