MS Sidewinder work with WinXP?

Hi, I have a Sidewinder Gamepad that I got a few years ago. I recently upgraded to WinXP Pro and I can not seem to get the Controller to be recognized.

Of course I tried plugging unplugging a couple times, Reinstalling the Sidewinder Drivers a couple times and a few other Voodoo tricks.

Anyway, does the old MS Gamepad no longer work with WinXP?
