You actually get the Dual Strike free instantly with any sidewinder gaming device. The Sidewinder precision pro is 49.99 - $10 instant savings - $20 Mfr. MIR.

Dual strike can/could have been had for $5 shipped from Onvia (no rebates) with the recent $10 off $15+ deal.

I own the Precision Pro 2.0. If you play flying games, it's a must-have. Love it.

Not something you're going to use for Quake, though.

Monty, that's why you get both! One for flying and one for fragging :)
(BTW: The instant savings is just that, instant savings. When you check out, the Sidewinder Precision Pro will ring up at $39.99)

stevesurfing 10,
Did you read this post? Look at the title... it clearly states that it's a precision 2 controller and that it has a $20 mail in rebate. This was listed in the CompUSA ad that mailed out Thursday.

I checked the CompUSA ad, and went to the store. This is NOT the Precision 2!

It's on the back page of their 4 day flier. Yes, the description clearly states that it's "Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro 2.0 Joystick", but the picture is even the old Precision Pro. I took both boxes up to the cashier and had them scan both, and check UPCs and SKUs on both. The Precision Pro came up $39.99 and the Precision 2 was $49.99. When you check the rebate form, it is also clearly the Precision Pro (in the old Green Box, not the new blue box).

I wanted to get this too, but it's just a typo, and management took a stance. At best you might get them to honor the $10 off the Precision 2, but the Mail in Rebate (MIR) will be rejected. You can definitely get the Dual Strike with either one though.
