MS Sidewinder Gamepad

I have a MS Sidewinder gamepad but it has a serial connection plug and is not the USB connection plug. Tried searching Microsoft download site for drivers for XP but cant locate any. I understand that XP does not support Serial connections for game pads no more? Is this correct?

And if anyone could point me to where I can get drivers to make this gamepad work.

Thanks all! 😀

serial?

are you sure it's not game port?

it's for the game port. get the drivers here . they originaly came with the adapter for use with USB . of course it just pluged together WITHOUT using the screws to HOLD it together . PITA . no idea where you could get one of those . your going to need a game port on your comp without the USB adapter.
good luck
