Hi,
I just got this wheel a few days ago, and I notice that when I turn the force effects on, the wheel springs into a slightly off-center position (a few degrees to the left). Is this normal?
Also, I am using Win2K so I can't get the Sidewinder's software installed. However, I can still get the wheel working by selecting "MS Sidewinder (Autodetect)" in the Gaming Options panel. Will I be missing anything by not having the software installed?
Thanks,
atwl
Edit:
UPDATE: Okay, this is weird. I just turned on the wheel today and it decided to center itself perfectly. I turned it off and on again, and it's centered again. Anyone else experienced this kind of inconsistency?
