? Adds support in the Wireless Client for a new FIPS (Federal Information Processing)
Notable Changes in Windows Vista Service Pack 1compliant mode. This mode is FIPS 140-2 compliant because it moves the cryptographic processing from the wireless network card to an existing FIPS-approved cryptographic library.

One of the most noticeable changes for me is the transfer rates when copying or moving a file (locally) from one directory to another. It has literally tripled in many scenarios; where I averaged 12MB/s pre-SP1 (yes, sad, and one of my biggest gripes with Vista), now I often hit 38MB/s or even 43MB/s in some cases.
