MS RDP client and Windows 98: Known compatibility issues?

We still have five or six win98se machines connecting to our Win2003 Term server. The client software from MS (the newest version that I could find, straight from MS's site) will occasionally lose color, reject user input, cause the number pad keys to quit working, etc. This is only a problem on our computers that run on Win98se. Closing the session and logging back in seems to solve the problem every time. Is there some fix that we could be looking at, or are we just forced to log back in a couple times a day until we change to all winxp or 2000 machines?

Thanks.

just use the webbased Internet explorer one😀

Keep in mind that it installs an activex control so you can actually type in the name or ip of a local computer and it will work😀

So, how does that work? Does it not use the msrdp client still?

It uses an active control that does RDP for you. I jsut recommended it to see if it would work for you.

It is basically a downloadable webpage that you can jsut put on a server in a user -accessible directory

nitty gritty details

The actual webpage template😀 available for download via MS
