I am looking ot buy a 1gb stick of MS Pro with the highest speed possible without being overly expensive.
The SanDisk 1GB Memory Stick Pro Model SDMSV-1024-A10 claims "High-speed data transfer rate of 15Mbps for DVD-quality video in real time" and is $91.44 on newegg.

The SanDisk Ultra II 1GB Memory Stick Pro Model SDMSPH-1024-901 claims Minimum write speed of 9 Mbps, read speed of 10 Mbps and is about $108

The Sony MSX-1GS 1gb also claims 15mbps. for $80ish
The Sony MSX-1GN 1gb calims Read/write speeds up to 80 Mbps but $165!!!!!
The Lexar MS1GB-331 1gb claims Write speed 20 MB/sec but $414!!!!!!!!

what's actually faster!? i have owned the 15mbps line of Sandisks and don't have complains but i am mainly wondering is the Ultra II line is faster?!

what device are you using it on? unless its a high megapixel camera or you're using it just to transfer files, the difference will be negligable
and make sure you're using it on usb 2, I had someone ask me today why usb is so slow when they transferred 500mb and it took like 30 mins !!!! :)

Well i have a Sony P-150 and a P-200 both are 7.2mp
however
i don't think either will actually benefit from a faster MS card but they aren't the reason i am looking for a faster one.
I do have a USB 2.0 card reader so i am looking for faster transfers to my PC but it is for any future device i might purchase that will take advantage of the higher speed capability. I don't want to have to buy yet another stick once i get a new device.
