Hello all,

I've come across a situation where a client has 2 different sets of contacts in their outlook pst file. This is posing a problem since important contacts are spread out between the 2.

They use a program called SynchPst to sync outlook on another PC and the way that program operates, it'll only sync the "Contacts" folder, but not the 2nd user-created contacts folder which has a different name.

Is it possible for me to merge the 2 separate contacts sets on the first pc at all?

Thanks for any advice.

how about export both to excel (csv file), merge the files in excel, and then import csv back into outlook.

or maybe there's a way to have syncpst do both files...

edit: yeah...syncpst looks like you can make a new .pst out of the two existing psts ...

I'll give it another look tomorrow at the client.

So far what i've tried with synchpst has only allowed me to sync whatever is similar in a local and foreign pst file, for instance Inbox, Drafts, etc...

It does sync the original Contacts folder, but i believe if i allow it to do the 2nd Contacts folder (which has a different name) it'll then create that folder on the other PC, which is not what I want.

Hopefully this csv file will help me out!
