I made a connection for my school email account to download my huge amount of email in Outlook and it started to download the email, I pressed stop and not only did it not leave it on the server, it did not come to my inbox in Outlook.

I'm missing about 75 emails. I made a rule to send it to a certain folder and then downloaded again the rest of my mail, but the other 75 are still missing. Where would they have gone?

Can you log into your school account thru the web?
May still be there but Outlook isn't grabbing them anymore...

I checked the server through my webmail and it was gone. I did this before actually doing the download again.
All my email minus the 75 some odd mail were still on the server so then I just downloaded that.
I talked to the help desk and they said that they were not able to find out what happened til later.

Usually when there is an interuption the mail is just downloaded again so you may have multiple copies in Outlook,
at least that's what happens with my isp mail when I lose connection.
