At least it makes it easy to identify if your console is a Jasper. And if they aren't, burn; both literally and figuratively.
 
i hate the color red
there's a computer from dell that is red that sends 25 bucks to Africa for AIDs, and I didn't buy that computer which would've helped those people
because Dell didn't offer an alternative color for that model
 
I think the console looks pretty ugly, but it's a good deal for the hardware/software involved.

According to this Major Nelson video, it is black. It's half black at best though. The piece that goes over your head is gray but the rest of it is black.

Great value for an Elite though. Just don't care for that shade of red. Yugh.

According to the video, he said 150 watt PSU. So this is definitely a Jasper. :thumbsup: wo0t.
 
I'm actually tempted by this, and like the color.

One question if it does RRoD do you get back a red console? I know there was a Halo edition awhile ago. Just wondering if you send in a special edition console if you get it back, or just a regular Elite/Pro.
 
I'm going to pre-order one this week. I've become so used to my jasper arcade console's silence that I can't stand playing on my old Elite anymore.

They will open it up, replace the guts, close it up and mail it back to you.
