MS Natural Keyboard problems

Got this strange problem here. I just "successfully" built my first computer. Everything seems to be in order except for the MS Natural Keyboard. It's a ps/2 connection and I have tested it in my brother's machine and it works just fine. However in my machine it doesn't do squat. The lights never flash on it at all during bootup. I'm not sure if this just means that it isn't being recognized by the bios or what. However using a standard non ergonomic keyboard works just fine. I don't get it. Yes I am using the right port for it (in case this is anyone's first guess) and unfortunately I don't have a ps/2 to usb converter to try that with. However I don't see why that would make a difference since like I said it works fine with the standard keyboard but isn't working with my natural keyboard which does work in other machines.
My m/b is a kt133a from acorp (7KTA). Everything else seems to be working fine except for this. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

This may sound crazy, but are you sure that you have it plugged all the way in. The Plastic portion of the Microsoft Plugs are fatter than the little cheapie keyboards.
Also, PS/2 devices (Keyboards, Mice, Trackballs) are not hot swappable. To prevent damage to you motherboard allways disconnect and connect these devices with the computer off.
